Our Story

Hi, I’m Leah — the founder of PAWMIAPAWS, based on the sunny Isle of Wight 🤎

PAWMIAPAWS was created from a very personal part of my life. My son, Charlie, has autism, is non-verbal, and also lives with epilepsy, meaning he requires full-time care. While being his mum is the most important role in my life, it can also be incredibly demanding, and over time I realised how important it was to find small moments for myself too.

That’s where Indie came in.

Our walks together became my reset — a chance to breathe, clear my mind, and find a little peace in the middle of busy days. Those quiet moments inspired the idea behind PAWMIAPAWS: creating beautiful, timeless accessories that make everyday walks feel special.

Building this brand has also given me the freedom to work from home whilst still being fully present for my family, which means more to me than words can say.

Many of our collections also hold personal meaning to our family. Our Dinosaur Daze collection was inspired by Charlie’s love — and special interest — in dinosaurs, making it an especially close-to-heart collection for us.

Every product is designed with love, comfort, and practicality in mind — combining elevated neutrals and thoughtful details with pieces made for real everyday life.
